On the last Sunday of each month, the village of Azinhal hosts the traditional monthly market, where, in addition to the best fresh produce and local products, you will have the opportunity to discover the handicrafts of the municipality of Castro Marim, with local artisans working live in basketry, lace from bobbins and in construction, arts and crafts that represent this village in the Algarve mountains and that are resisting commerce and industrialization.

The monthly Castro Marim Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Castro Marim's markets still maintain the authenticity of other times and it is, in part, because of this that they have become increasingly popular. Food and other consumer goods are found there and livestock and agricultural products are traded there.

The Castro Marim Medieval Fair takes visitors on a journey through time, immersing them in a charming environment full of history, culture and tradition.
